October 7th is the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the anniversary of the Catholic defeat over the Muslims at Lepanto, and this year, a first Friday. The students at St. Thomas Aquinas School in West Warren, MA (central Mass) are planning a special day of activities and are inviting not only the local families and parishoners, but sending out information to Catholic homeschooling families in Western and Central Massachusetts. The day will consist of the following:

8:30 Traditional Latin Mass
9-10 – Confessions and Rosary Making

10-10:30 Rosary Procession to St. Stan’s Hall

10:30-11 – light snack and get seated in the hall

11-11:30 – Talk on the Battle of Lepanto by Dr. Steve O’Brien (Dr.O’Brien is a Visiting Professor of History at  Bridgewater State University)

11:30-12 – Recitation of the poem “Lepanto” by Chesterton (copies will be provided for everyone)

12- Pizza and social time.

St. Thomas Aquinas School is located on North Main Street in West Warren and the procession will end a few blocks away at St. Stanislaus Hall on Main Street in West Warren. St. Thomas Aquinas School is a school for homeschoolers because all of the children attending have been or would be homeschooling if they were not attending Thomas Aquinas. We have a total of 26 students, both part-time and full-time, and our school is based on the love of the Latin Mass. Please join us.
